BEFORE THAT KISS

Just after the rain

She felt she should be embraced

A deep embrace by a man...

Yes, she is born again and speaks in tongues

Where is he? My dear fiancΓ© ...

She wanted that kiss again...

The urge to be curdled was rising...

Thoughts running out of control really

She held her pillow tightly to herself.

She was hot.

And then...

There was a tap at the door...

It was him. Brother Charles has come!

Mixed feelings...

She felt something could go wrong....

Strangely, she wanted it all the same...

Her moral wall was so down...

She needed help now...

Charming Charles came in with his irresistible smile

Awesome dentition with the smell of her favorite perfume

As usual, Charles landed that kiss on her lips

To express his love.

He has been innocent as she has been...

But unknown to him, he has been charging her 'battery'...

Charles held her shoulder with his right

And held the back of her head with the left.

She loved the kiss...

She held on to him a little... Then a little more...

Suddenly...

There was an ignition. It was a spark!

Bossom fire was lit

She could not control herself anymore...

Her hands went under his shirt

And then down to his trousers

Things were going on so fast. Very fast.

Charles' heart was beating very fast...

He knew this was wrong but could not push her away

Her hands went under the trousers

And landed on the flesh between the two legs

Like magic, there was a transformation

Flesh to wood and then to a rod.

Now a metal rod. Strong and straight.

Their blood boiled

It was intense...

They were simply helpless

Tears rolled down her cheeks as she pushed him to the bed.

Suddenly

There was light out.

NEPA mu ina lo ooo! (Nepa took the light)

Yeeehhh!

They ravished and explored their bodies

And then, her blood flowed.

The teeth of her virginity broken.

Her innocence taken away.

In a twinkling of an eye!

Hmnnnn....

Weeks later

Morning sickness began

She started vomiting...

Charles said he was not ready.

I am not ready to be a father yet, he sneered.

Alone, lonely and abandoned.

So she wept.

One thing led to the other...

And she found herself at the abortion table.

With a mighty stroke

The abortionist crushed the foetus!

More blood flowed....

A seed taken down

A baby murdered

A nation wiped out!

And Jehovah sighed.

The Holy One wept.

Hmnnnn...

That innocent kiss

That turned to a bloody kiss

Blood. Sorrow. Tears. More Blood.

That kiss. That kiss.

Ignition of bosom fire

Innocently bloody

The killer kiss...

Releasing the libido power

Like fire on a dry forest

It burned recklessly

Consuming vision and destiny.

Whose fault?

What happened?

Before you land her that kiss bros

Ask yourself sir.

What do I want to achieve?

Love or lust?

Is Jehovah pleased?

Apart from fleshly gratification, any other thing?

Are you deriving some pleasure in it?

Tell the truth now...

Watch and pray.

Don't kill that relationship.

Keep the kiss

Delay that TOUCH

There is time for everything.

Help her to help you

Help him to help you

He that thinks he stands...

Take heed, you can fall

You are flesh and blood.

Don't tempt temptation.

Waiting does not kill.

Simply my opinion

Take it or leave it...

But lo I have told you...

STOP PUTTING A SQUARE PEG IN A ROUND HOLE; A CALL TO RESTRUCTURE OUR UNION

Permit me to put this straight, I'm writing this not to attack anybody and I will implore the reader to take his keen interest and set his mindset to explore this piece as a call to reproof.

Without gainsaying, for the last 6 - Months, our Union has been dabbling with a lot of challenges emerging from personal egos, a misconception of facts, and a lack of basic rudiments for leadership.

Much words availeth nothing, let me put my focus basically on the recent happenings, and such that had to do with the administrative helms.

I've been noticing some strings of occurrences since last year when I was petitioned into the SJC, an occurrence that makes me lose interest in the present Student Judiciary Arms of our Union. I took my emphasis from here because my lettering is not to attack any personality or administration but to call for the RESTRUCTURING OF OUR DEAR UNION, even from every axis.

Many things were swept under the carpet in the case reference in the above paragraph, including the fact that the SJC operated on "A HEARSAY" rather than evidence that was provided and the fact that was given, which of course is not borne of contention.

This administration emerged with many hopes on them that they will sustain the integrity that was upheld during the President Idrees Mubarak Olamilekan AL-MOGAJI led Administration, and sincerely, they follow suit, most especially through the provisions of JAMB SCHOLARSHIP, the second controversial case leading to the illegal suspension of Vice President, Comr. Emmanuel Ayodeji Oyewole PARACETAMOL. In all sincerity, the hallowed chamber should be accorded the respect and regard they deserved, nevertheless, our dear honorable, most especially those at the helm of power should stop misappropriating the privileges, and vagabond their seats.

Well, what do we expect from the SJC since they were compelled and it was an honorary position doctored on them to continue the leadership as most of them didn't even show intention to secure the portfolio.

Well, as a distinguished learned colleague quoted, “If you refuse to do it, incompetent people will do it and they won’t do it well.” Well, some of us are avoiding causing loopholes due to our unavailability, nevertheless, we created a greater portion of the problem that is sending us to ruin.

To the most regarded SLCs, especially the representative of the CABALS; (yah, permit me to tell you that most occurrences that were played out are orchestrated by some crew of people herein refers to as CABALS) who happens to be the powerhouse of the Union, maybe we should go back in history and use the massive expulsion that happened during Dst. Rt. Hon. Adepoju Saheed (Honorable Speaker, F'20 and Global President, F'21) with Dst. Rt. Hon Alatise Ibrahim as the DSP, a motion leading to suspension of some numerable part of the SLC was moved, seconded, and passed to verdicts, however, such was never ruled as verdict not until the Judiciary Council authorized it, and herein is the beauty of democracy and such a dividend we are enjoying in our Union, permit me to reiterate, SLC DOES NOT GIVE JUDGEMENT, the JUDICIARY POWER of the Union is exclusively vested on the SJC, if not so, the separation of power into 3-Arms of Government wouldn't be necessary.

In extensions, I've said I won't comment on this, but the needs persist, in any form of government, there's always JURISDICTION of POWER between levels, "should I need to tell you that even in Institution settings, Faculties use different constitution and provisions?", the purported released of the supposed SLC on the issues of contend of power between FILSU LAUTECH and FILSU NHQ quoted a part of the constitution on the National HQ coordinating the affairs of the Chapter, if you want to comprehend that, I would refer you to Comr. Idrees Mubarak Olamilekan AL-MOGAJI (the IPP), as he had a series of DIPLOMATIC Experiences during his tenure, example of such is the "Inter-chapter Tour" and another was a Meeting held in November of that same year where issues of Bursary and such pertained to it were discussed (I still have the picture reference of this particular one, you can hit me up WITH COURTESY for it, OR rather, you can checked the official Facebook Page of the Union for the duo reference occurrences).

To FILSU LAUTECH, I believed you are all men of honorary reports (Banking on the integrity of Ldr. As-Saheed words concerning your progenitor), I didn't follow your case up as I was busy with one or two things here, but with the little I caught, kindly continue to uphold the integrity you were made up as reference earlier under this paragraph, give regards to the NHQ as deserved, the National Secretariat remains the supreme body. No amount of words will suffice, let me refer you to the last Magazine Publication of the FILSU Nhq tagged "The Parrot Vol. 02", I submitted therein under the topic I titled "Students Unionism: The Expectations, The Constraint, and The Way Forward; A Checkmate of FILSU NHQ Administration". I recommend this to every prospective aspirant for FILSU '24 too, I believed the submission there will help in guiding your affairs.

To the NHQ, I've said a lot in my conversations with the Secretary, so I won't touch most aspects of that again. I believe the Union President is on the ALUMNI FORUM where the issues of degrading academic excellence was raised, I believed that should be your focus, looking for how you will submit your quota as the Chairman and "the SUPREME HEAD" of this administration, stop stooping so low to respond to some situation, embraces PEACE above any other situations, this situation most especially is to me a vetoed of ego which can be averted through diplomatic dialogue, focused on the necessity and let go every other weight that could be causing stigma to you, you have most focused your attentions fighting yourself whereas you are not running factional governance, I believed you can do better, and I sincerely hope a new dawn will emerge.

THESE, are my submissions, and they remain personal submissions of mine without any interferences or influence to write by anyone except otherwise quoted, the need to stick to the 3 Arms of Government we are running should be sustained and I believed we should start ensuring standard is incorporated in the electioneering processes of our Union. I remains and I'm open to critics and corrections, but in a  diplomatic manner. Thanks, and hope to see new changes emerging.

 A Gladiator Emerges ESF Chairman
       by Babalola Ademola Stephen (#iamHERITAGE)

The stake of the political atmosphere in the Federal University of Technology Minna is about to take another's turn as a political gladiator and a stalwart egalitarian has entered the jungle to pilot the political affairs in the institution.

The Congress on Wednesday 15th led to the emergence of Comr. Cadre. Sen. Abubakar Alade Yakub ORACLE as the Chairman of the Forum, and of course, a quake in the political atmosphere of the institution followed as a new rising sun emerged and a king resumed to take his place as the reigning tycoon in the jungle.

Taking a glimpse at the Comradeship journey of the new ESF Chairman passes a message and voices a code, Comr. Abubakar Alade Yakub ORACLE is currently a 500L Student of Mechatronics Engineering, he started his building a portfolio of leadership as the Public Related Officer of the National Association of ShΓ re Students (NASS FUTMinna) in 2018/19, after which he has also served as Director of Welfare, Distinguish Senator, AGS, and even Executive President for different Associations both at National Headquarter, Chapter, Department, and Faculty. Currently, he is the President of NASS FUTMinna, Deputy Senate President at NASS NHQ, and also just emerged as Chairman of the Engineering Stakeholders Forum.

Subject to his wealth of experience in associating with different administrations with diverse challenges, engagement, and learning distinct ways of permutations and partnership.

With assurance, Comr. Abubakar Alade Yakub ORACLE is equipped with all veritable resources to awaken the sleeping lion that had been laid to rest from time immemorial, with certainty, ORACLE will deliver tentatively, and ENGINEERING Faculty will take the lead again. MMI Vol 20

Monday Morning Intonation (MMI Vol 20)

Good Morning and Welcomes to MMI Vol 20. In Vol 18 & 19, I've submitted tentatively what you needs to access Productivity, so I'll just be concluding my emphasis in this Vol 20.

And permit me to reminds you that "Productivity is define as the outcomes you produce, the visibility your business or you personally gets, the value acknowledge to you, and the results you command, and the influence you controls."

So far so good, I've submitted that for you to be productive, you have to work expressly on yourself, your skills, and the levels of your proficiency. You know, you cannot expect a JSS 3 student to be commanding the same results as an SS 3 student, because of the level of their experiences which in turn has built them to attain some levels of professionalism.

Same goes for you, you can be what you wants to be only if you started working on yourself, stay dedicated, be diligent, consistent, and stay focused to the path you have chosen, it doesn't happens at once, greatness is not birth, you grow into it.

Don't forget, the factor that determine higher productivity is high level of proficiency, your productivity is as a result of the skills and proficiency you have mastered.

As you go this week, be diligent, and your hands shall bear rule.

Emphasis: "Your proficiency will determine the results you will produce. Your results is where you are and the level of visibility you are catching."

MMI Vol. 19

Monday Morning Intonation (MMI Vol 19)

Good Morning and Welcomes to MMI Vol 19

Last week, I started my emphasis fully on Productivity, this I have started with a reference in Episode 17 where I laid my emphasis submitting that "you should focused your priorities on what will contributes greatly to your growth and personal development".

In episode 18 as well, I emphasis that "There is an un-separated nexus between your proficiency and the results you are commanding as your results is directly proportional to the level of skills you have mastered."

In continuation; Things will comes to you only when you attained a stage in your proficiency, there are some doors that will not open to you unless you have attained some certain stage of proficiency irrespective of your gift, even if you have the talent, it will not be effective, so God too will not gives you what you won't be able to access.

If you hunger for a greater stage of productivity or visibility, work on yourself and not just sit down kowtowed in prayer. It takes learning, working on necessary aspect of our lives for us to command some results we really wants.

Above every other things I've said I'll motion myself after this year is Personal Development, I've got to understand that to change what happens around me, I needs to work upon my inside and changes what happens in me, and I'm dedicated to this, and sincerely, I have been experiencing quantum leap.

Great productivity doesn't start from achieving greatness, it start from you working on yourself, things will comes for you on its own only when you qualifies for it.

This week, may God prosper your hands and direct your footsteps to attain greatness, go out there and be productive. Good Morning and Happy New Week and Happy New Month.

Emphasis: Great productivity doesn't start from achieving greatness, it start from you working on yourself, things will comes for you easily when you qualifies for it.

      SECURITY ALERT AND CONSCIOUSNESS.

 Solidarity greetings to all Futmites

We have received in very much recent times, news of numerous attacks being perpetrated by unscrupulous and criminal minded elements against our students living off campus in Gidankwano most especially. One of the most recent to be a student who was brutally attacked late hours of yesterday and was immediately rushed to IBB specialist hospital where he is currently being attended to.

It is in our best interest and duty as a union to ensure effective policies and procedures for welfare towards ensuring the safety of our students.

The Students' Union led by Comr BUSARI Ibrahim Olamide had earlier on engaged the Divisional Police headquarters to express our displeasure over the attacks that our students have suffered, CSP Okere, the DPO had promised to up their game and also to provide immense support.

He further advised the students to be of good conduct and compose themselves in a bid to avoid any circumstances that will lead to apprehension, as the police were set to intervene.

In furtherance to curb this insecurity challenge, the police division, Gidan kwano has assured the Students’ Union of their full support and strictly advised students to always endeavor to move around with school ID or any means of identification at late hours to distinguish students from other individuals.

As a new security measure, all students are therefore advised to:

 1. Make use of ID card at late hours.
2. Avoid operating phones or valuable gadgets at night while walking on the street as this is what attracts these criminals.
3. Avoid walking alone at night, always walk in groups.
4. Always lock your doors and windows properly.
5. Stay vigilant and avoid late night movements, in the case of reading inside school at night, please remain inside school until the day breaks before heading home.

 NEW MONTH PRESIDENTIAL BROADCAST.

Dear FUTMites;

In the spirit of service and responsibilities, I bring this greeting to you, I am sure my message is meeting you well and sound, Happy New Month, and welcomes to June.

On Wednesday, May 31st, 2023, we held a productive meeting with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration regarding two prominent concerns; "the transportation queue and unopened campus toilets".

Resulting from our meeting with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, a favorable response was received and significant actions have been taken to address them promptly.

TRANSPORTATION QUE;

Adequate processes have been put in place as a result of our meeting with the school authority, and a more efficient queuing system that will reduce waiting times shall be implemented to enhance the overall transportation experience.

UNOPENED CAMPUS TOILET;

All unopened toilets on campus will soon be opened up. The school authority has assured us that the necessary maintenance is being carried out diligently, Based on the current progress, we expect them to be in full operation in the coming week. This development will significantly improve the restroom facilities and provide greater convenience to all students, the waiting is worthwhile.

GK TRANSFORMER AND LIGHTING:

Dear Colleagues, we are still much hopeful as promised by the management of the AEDC in our last meeting to fulfilled their ends of the discussion in ensuring that GIDAN KWANO gets a new transformer, be rest assured that we are doing everything in our capacity to ensure that GK is lightened.

INTER-SCHOOL TRANSFER FORM;

In the last few days, I’ve received many complaints about the issues of students not able to transfer to other faculties or schools, with the only option given to repeat the 100L, and all alternative considerations to explore other faculties to try their luck proving abortive. We have met with the Director of Academic Planning unit to discuss the possible reopening of the transfer form of which we were informed that the matter will be looked into and expected fruitful response will be delivered in the coming weeks. Hopefully transfer forms will be opened again.

CONCLUSION;

In the spirit of oneness, I ask you to join me in making FUTMinna greater, with confidence in our SPEC Agenda, I'm certain that we are not far from where we are going, thanks for your confidence in me, and in us, and I'm assuring you that we are very much obliged to serving you better, and we won't fail you.

Thanks, and Happy New Month.
