LETTER TO MY DAUGHTER by Ademola Stephen, BABALOLA (iamHERITAGE)

Exactly a year I wrote this in a series, finding relevancy in it lines I bring it for your expository; LETTER TO MY DAUGHTER

I have heard of how honorable you (are)

among the maiden of your age,

unique, special, a bright shiny light

I got the report in your attestation,

how you have upheld the beauty of courtesy,

living mindfully as you maintain integrity,

and not neglecting the course of purpose

But I've got this to say,

oh, thou fairest among the daughter of the land,

not all that glitters are gold

Illusion has taken over time

Allow me to bring to your remembrance,

as I foretold you in early times,

that in the end, perilous times shall come,

deceit and lies shall be the acceptable traits of the day

Above all, as I told your brother_

Greatness and Honor is a Responsibilities

Attaining it comes with a greater impact requirements

Of which mountain thou longest to mount.

Always remember your place as a priceless gold

and your shinning is not refined as silver

but in the ocean of affliction

have thou been ordained to beautify

They who are victorious,

hast passed through the valley of death,

for the path is not just rough but also tempting,

but their scars is their shinning garment of glory

BEFORE THAT KISS

Just after the rain

She felt she should be embraced

A deep embrace by a man...

Yes, she is born again and speaks in tongues

Where is he? My dear fiancΓ© ...

She wanted that kiss again...

The urge to be curdled was rising...

Thoughts running out of control really

She held her pillow tightly to herself.

She was hot.

And then...

There was a tap at the door...

It was him. Brother Charles has come!

Mixed feelings...

She felt something could go wrong....

Strangely, she wanted it all the same...

Her moral wall was so down...

She needed help now...

Charming Charles came in with his irresistible smile

Awesome dentition with the smell of her favorite perfume

As usual, Charles landed that kiss on her lips

To express his love.

He has been innocent as she has been...

But unknown to him, he has been charging her 'battery'...

Charles held her shoulder with his right

And held the back of her head with the left.

She loved the kiss...

She held on to him a little... Then a little more...

Suddenly...

There was an ignition. It was a spark!

Bossom fire was lit

She could not control herself anymore...

Her hands went under his shirt

And then down to his trousers

Things were going on so fast. Very fast.

Charles' heart was beating very fast...

He knew this was wrong but could not push her away

Her hands went under the trousers

And landed on the flesh between the two legs

Like magic, there was a transformation

Flesh to wood and then to a rod.

Now a metal rod. Strong and straight.

Their blood boiled

It was intense...

They were simply helpless

Tears rolled down her cheeks as she pushed him to the bed.

Suddenly

There was light out.

NEPA mu ina lo ooo! (Nepa took the light)

Yeeehhh!

They ravished and explored their bodies

And then, her blood flowed.

The teeth of her virginity broken.

Her innocence taken away.

In a twinkling of an eye!

Hmnnnn....

Weeks later

Morning sickness began

She started vomiting...

Charles said he was not ready.

I am not ready to be a father yet, he sneered.

Alone, lonely and abandoned.

So she wept.

One thing led to the other...

And she found herself at the abortion table.

With a mighty stroke

The abortionist crushed the foetus!

More blood flowed....

A seed taken down

A baby murdered

A nation wiped out!

And Jehovah sighed.

The Holy One wept.

Hmnnnn...

That innocent kiss

That turned to a bloody kiss

Blood. Sorrow. Tears. More Blood.

That kiss. That kiss.

Ignition of bosom fire

Innocently bloody

The killer kiss...

Releasing the libido power

Like fire on a dry forest

It burned recklessly

Consuming vision and destiny.

Whose fault?

What happened?

Before you land her that kiss bros

Ask yourself sir.

What do I want to achieve?

Love or lust?

Is Jehovah pleased?

Apart from fleshly gratification, any other thing?

Are you deriving some pleasure in it?

Tell the truth now...

Watch and pray.

Don't kill that relationship.

Keep the kiss

Delay that TOUCH

There is time for everything.

Help her to help you

Help him to help you

He that thinks he stands...

Take heed, you can fall

You are flesh and blood.

Don't tempt temptation.

Waiting does not kill.

Simply my opinion

Take it or leave it...

But lo I have told you...

RESPECT

 Respect is reciprocal, so say the proverb;

Meaning if you give respect, you get it back.

How I wish to know the originator,

To give answers to my numerous questions.

Elders treat it as a mighty virtue,

Youths treat it so carelessly than I thought

What can be done to avert the rate

At which it is diminishing today?

Give honors to whom they are due;

Also encouraged and adviced by the scripture

But what can be done to this pervert generations

That keeps turning the scripture upside down?

THE CLARION CALL (Matt 11:28)

Come ye unto me

All ye that labored

And heavily lardened

For I'll give thee rest

Come unto me

All ye Sin Sick Soul

Drink of My Purified Blood

And will give thee rest

Come unto me

All ye lying in darkness

For entrance of word giveth light

Deep understanding to the simple

Come unto me

Ye that walk amidst

For I'll make your crooked way straight

And grants you rest in everlasting

Come unto me

Ye leveled with heavily burden

I'm of gentle and meek in heart

And the burden of my yoke is light

Come unto me

All ye lacking understanding

For with me is wisdom

Entrance of my word giveth knowledge

Come unto me

Ye that are troubled

For mine is vengeance

Mercy and Judgment lies my bosom

Come unto me

And receive of my rest

Learn of me

And put on my likeness

Come unto me

And learn my ways

Incline thy heart unto my path

And I'll give thee rest

INSTRUMENT OF WARFARE

Fear being the greatest enemy

Has a feature comprising it

It yielded his course not alone

But IGNORANCE powers it affairs

Harken I tells you,

As I put my heart to know

Seeking with all indulgence

Greatest weapon for the battle of life

Then I saw the piloting power

Rotating the axle of happenings

Diverse we encounter in battle of life

But IGNORANCE aid their overwhelming

We failed

For we lack knowledge of its proceedings

Living our lives

In agony of shame and reproach

Supposed many were aware

Of the gracious platform they should have operate

They would have bound Princes

Even in front of their Kings

For Lo I tells you,

The weapon of our warfare are not canal

But are powerfully mighty

To cast down evil imaginations

Verily verily I says unto you;

Unless a King aware of his supreme authority

Even slave will command

And bind his precious before him

At every point in time

The most required of every man

Is the ability to discern

What has, is and to come

For David will have low chance of wining

If not of the sons of Issachar

They who posses the Knowledge of Time

Knowing what Isreal ought to do in them

I'LL WAIT 🚏 🚏 🚏

Though the situation of life warrants_

I act as if_

There won't be better chance

Though it pricks my heart

As the ardent desires is so attractive

Seeming my hope is full

Yet will I wait

Till my change has fully comes

Till I reach the climax of all

Though am thirsty

Yet will I not rush

For there's a spring of living water

Grumpy in his vineyard

Though this aroma

Is so salivating

Yet will I tarry

Till I'm ripe to eat it's fruit

For I've come to know;

Supposed Eve has waited_

She would have had_

The nourishment of her desires.

I've come to realized;

If Samson could tarry little_

He would have wipe off_

His enemy without dying alongside.

Has the Apostles not tarry

The gnashing of the Pentecost

Would have belude them

Revival would instead have tarried.

The meriment of the lustful pleasure

Is just but for a season

So I'll wait

Till I could have its fullness

I've come to realized

Elisha doesn't just desired

But tarry still with Elijah

For passover of the mantle

"We'd not go" saith Moses

"But tarry and wait_

Until thy Presence_

Has abide with us on our way"

For mouth cannot explain

Nor perceived by the ear

What thou hast prepared

For those patiently waiting on you

For they that waited on the Lord_

Will have their strength renewed_

Mounting up with wings as of eagle_

Runneth and never be wearied.

The salivating of my lustful desires

Cannot be compared_

To the longing hope_

Awaiting me as I tarried still.

Though am waiting_

Yet will I not settle for less,

But rather in my tarriness_

Will keep striving for the bes.

I'll wait

And suppressed my hunger

Irrespective of the salivating desires

I'm on fasting for the best.

A TURN UP FOR THE BOOKS

Why not turn a new leaf?

Pick up that book by your bed.

Learn something new about other things.

Bring a story to life in your head.

For a book can open up a world

That springs to life from the page.

A book can amuse,

A book can upset,

A book can prompt feelings of rage.

A character can somehow seem real

As if you have met them before.

The best books are the ones you cannot put down...

And leaves you wanting for more.

Make no mistake, a film can be great.

The special effects are immense.

But all the best films spring from the best books.

Come on! You know it makes sense!

A film will keep on playing

If you go to the kitchen or loo.

But a book will sit, patiently waiting

For the book can't be played without you.

To read and write is critical

In these info driven times.

And you've read to this point in the poem

Or others would say it's a rhyme.

But reading is more than just functional.

It doesn't just help us exist.

And if you are feeling skeptical,

Perhaps you don't know what you've missed.

Books can be truly magical;

I hope I have given that hint.

So why not try reading and reading for pleasure,

Those messages hidden in print?
